i got to spend a couple of days with my sister this weekend at the lake before she officially moves to Portland, Oregon. Witnessed this colorful sunset, the clouds were low due-to a cold front. It is crazy to think that cool temperatures are just around the corner.
happy Valentine’s Day! Yesterday Reagan and I put together valentines for Jason (aka: Daddy). Reagan’s valentine was a long-distance hug (an idea I saw on pinterest, here). Jason sometimes works long hours and doesn’t get to spend as much time with his little girl as he would like. So, now he has a long-distance hug from Reagan, for when he is missing her too much.
I visited the Plains Art Museum this past Saturday. The Unglued Craft Fest hosted a meet-and-greet for crafters, giving you a chance to see where your booth is located. 618love’s booth will be located on the 3rd floor, right as you come up the stairs or get off the elevator. An awesome booth spot in my opinion! My husband and I spent a lot of our date night talking about how to set-up my space and I am excited to see how our ideas turn out. I will show more later as we start construction.
Ah… my little boston terrier, Sammy, hard at work already. While she does, what she does best, I have packaged up journals and prints. Trying to do a little everyday. Ordered more linoleum and I am awaiting its arrival. I have a couple larger prints I would like to make for the upcoming Unglued Craft Fest… Things are slowly coming together.
I got some awesome news at the end of last week. I will be participating as a vendor in the Unglued Craft Fest, taking place February 25 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, North Dakota. I have never participated in any craft fairs before and I have to admit that I am crazy excited and slightly stressed. But I am working on my game plan and starting to put the pieces together. I am hoping to blog about the process or at least get images up of what I am working on.
